This Privacy Policy describes how CODE Technology (“CODE”) collects, uses, and shares personally-identifiable information (“Personal Information”) from users (“Users”) of codetechnology.com (“the Website”). It does not apply to any other websites or services provided by CODE Technology; nor does it apply to any websites or services provided by other parties.

What Personal Information CODE Collects

Personal Information Submitted by Users

Some pages of the Website ask Users to submit Personal Information about themselves to CODE, for example to answer questions about the services CODE provides, or to make recommendations about what services would be best for the Users. This information includes data like the user’s name, contact info, and organization.

Personal Information Collected Automatically

Every time Users view a page of the Website, some technical details of the page access are recorded in the Website logs, which is hosted by WP Engine. This Personal Information includes data like the time of access, the URL address of the page viewed, and the IP address of the device which accessed the page. Additionally, page views of the Website are tracked by Google Analytics and Google AdWords via HTTP cookies and web beacons.

No Patient Information is Collected

Absolutely no patient or health information is collected, transmitted, or stored via the Website. All patient data that is collected by CODE is done so via separate websites and services.

How CODE Uses Personal Information

CODE uses Personal Information submitted by Users to respond to their questions, and to follow up with further information about new services, features, or offers. CODE uses Personal Information collected by Google Analytics and Google AdWords to display targeted ads on third-party websites. In particular, CODE uses a technique called remarketing that uses cookies to serve ads on third-party websites to Users who have visited the Website previously.

With Whom CODE Shares Personal Information

CODE does not share Personal Information submitted by Users with any third parties, and only CODE employees or contractors with a business need to use it have access to it. The Personal Information collected by Google Analytics and Google AdWords on the Website is collected by, transmitted to, and stored by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. Google shares this information only in an aggregate, non-personally-identifiable form with its partners and the public.

How to Opt-Out of Some Collection, Uses, and Sharing of Personal Information

Users who previously submitted their contact information to CODE but no longer wish to be contacted by CODE may send an email or letter to the addresses posted below and direct CODE to cease communications with them. Users who wish to opt-out of the use of Google Analytics may install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Users who wish to opt-out of the use of Google AdWords may adjust their Google Ads Settings.
